Overview

Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact caldera covering 310 square kilometers, 600 meters deep and 20 kilometers across. It is one of the breathtaking natural wonders of Tanzania where man and wildlife come directly into contact.

Location: Within Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Arusha region. 294km from Moshi, 191km from Arusha.

Attractions: Diversity of wildlife, geological features, Maasai bomas, hippo pool, Lerai forest, black rhinos.

Activities: Game viewing, photographing, visiting cultural bomas.

Schedule: Leave Moshi at 4:30 AM, arrive Ngorongoro at 10 AM, spend 5 hours in park, leave at 3:00 PM, arrive Moshi at 8:00 PM.
